Magazine Campaign Returns

The magazine campaign is back at Dunnville Secondary School (DSS). The campaign has been running for around six years. There are always a lot of great selections; approximately 600 magazines are listed up to eighty five percent off newsstand prices. This year, customers are able to order magazines online by logging on to www.qsp.ca. All you need is the account # 30798 and a student’s name. “This is always a great campaign and we get to keep forty percent of the profits,” said Donna McMahon who is one of the teacher leaders of the magazine campaign. “It is always successful because we are not selling food and the profits are high for the school,” said McMahon. This year DSS plans to raise at least 20,000 dollars and if they do, students will receive an afternoon movie day. There are also great prizes such as gift cards from Cadillac Fairview Malls, an iMac computer and an iPad 2. There are also the usual pencil pulls and mystery draws happening on collection days. This is the high school’s only fundraiser so good luck to all the sellers.
