Race For The IPad 2

By: Ryan
Throughout the past few weeks the students of Dunnville Secondary School (DSS) have been hard at work selling magazines to friends and family in hope to make the goal of $20,000 total sales. On top of the feeling of having helped DSS raise money for sports and dances, the students will have a chance at a variety of prizes. These prizes include boxes of pizza which are awarded to two students on each collection day, and a pencil pull for any student who brought in four magazine subscriptions on a Tuesday collection date where the student can win up to $50. The grand prize is awarded at the end of the month, when the campaign is to finish. A draw for an IPad 2 will take place and one lucky student from DSS, who sold 10 or more subscriptions, will win it. Along with competition between individual students to out sell each other, there is a breakfast up for grabs for the homeroom with the most money in subscriptions and the school will be running a movie in the cafeteria for any student who sold a magazine subscription, but only if the goal is reached.
