The Dunnville Seconday School junior girls volleyball team has had tryouts, and has made cuts, and will soon have the team made and ready to play.
John Lyle, the junior girls coach this year, plans to make the final cuts for the team on Tuesday, November 29. Even though the team has not been made yet, Lyle said that he sees a lot of potential and passion in the girls. The team will have their first game sometime in December. "There is a lot of talent among the girls this year. I think with several practices that the team has a good chance of doing very well this season," said the junior girls student coach Caitlin Ottaway. The girls will soon find out if they have made the final cuts, and will be on the team.
"The biggest challenge this year, would be to find the perfect setter," said Lyle. When the team has been finalized, they will work hard to overcome the challenge. Lyle is confident that the team will do better than last year. Everyone is excited for the season to begin, and can't wait for the first game.
