By Carly Trick or treat? On Monday, October 31st students from Dunnville Secondary School (DSS) went down the streets of Dunnville door to door to collect toonies or other loose change along with non-perishable foods. This event was called ‘Toonies for Hunger’, and this year they raised approximately $1100, making it a huge success. This amount almost doubled the profit from last year. The money raised from this event went towards the Breakfast Program at Dunnville Secondary School as well as the ‘Free the Children’ program. Taelore Hanly said, “It is my second year of doing Toonies for hunger and I think it was a great experience. It was a big success this year too, and it’s for a good cause.” Good job Dunnville and thank you for your support for this event.
