This past Thursday, Dunnville Secondary School (DSS) held its first Coffee House of the year. The night offered some of the best talents that DSS has to offer, including E.J. Hoffman-Stinson and his sister Ricki-Lynn Hoffman-Stinson who sang, played guitar, and bass; Paige Williams who played piano; and Bryan Kellam and Ashlyn Minor who sang duets and played guitar, piano and the banjo. Also among the performers were Astrid Warner who sang a self written song, and special guest Connor Dockrill who played piano and guitar. After all the performances, there was an open microphone to whoever else wanted to perform. It was certainly a night to remember as all of the performers were at the top of their game. “The turn out was small but the talent was still there and everyone performed really well,” said Paige Williams who assisted in getting this event off the ground. This is only the first Coffee House that DSS has hosted this year, but judging by the talent displayed at this one, it will not be the last.
