The warmer weather has got the Dunnville Secondary School (DSS) Track and Field athletes raring to go. This past week DSS had sign ups for the upcoming Track and Field team. The meet and sign ups took place in Coach Kevin Boyd’s room at lunch time. Any students wishing to compete in an event or more than one event were welcome to sign up. Events are usually categorized as Running, Jumping, and Throwing events. There are about 20 events possible for the students to compete in. Some events DSS students will be competing are the 4 x100 relay, long jump, and javelin throw to name a few. The students have seemed to spark an interest in a wide variety of the events offered. “There has been quite an increase of sign ups this year than from previous years,” said Coach Kevin Boyd. There has been multiple students who are now starting to practice at lunch time hours and after school. The upcoming Zone competition is going to be held at the Niagara Olympic Club in
