Dunnville Secondary School (DSS) was Party Rock central last Wednesday, April 4. DSS students dressed up in their best party rock gear, and hit the dance floor to ring in the spring season!
The DSS student council made this year's spring semi formal one to remember. With decorations including blow-up zebras, bright banners, huge blocks that read “Party Rock”and black lighting, the gymnasium was transformed into a party rocking palace.
DJ Joe Barilla kept the approximately 200 student turnout dancing from 7 until 10 pm. On top of the great music and crazy decorations, the student council also provided food for the students. There was cake, cotton candy, and fruit and vegetable trays.
This was also the first DSS semi formal where students could have their pictures taken and then purchase the photos for only 50 cents the following day.
“It was an awesome turnout, the theme really made the night, and the decorations were the best I've seen from any DSS dance,” said student council member Paige Williams. “Overall it was an awesome night.”
