The weather was overcast and the Dunnville Secondary School (DSS) boys varsity soccer team was soaked within minutes of their game. On Tuesday, May 1st the DSS boys soccer team travelled to Wellandport for their game against Robert Land Academy at 3:00pm. They played a great game and the boys worked hard. “It was a stellar performance and the boys played great,” said John Lyle, one of the coaches. “There were phenomenal plays by Kyle Roberts, Damien Lalonde, and Brandon White.” The score was 5 nothing for Dunnville. The goals were scored by Matt Schmalz, Damien Lalonde, Kyle Roberts, and Jesse Kuiper. There were no penalties and because the other team did not score, the goalie, Kevin Reid, was awarded with a shutout. All in all it was a great way to start the month of May and the boys are looking forward for this coming season.
