Calling all Adventure Seekers

Danielle McMahon

Are you looking to do some good for others while having an adventure of a lifetime as well? If you are, Dunnville Secondary School (DSS) is organizing the trip for you.                 Staff member Deborah Weaver is in charge of the trip for summer 2013 to Peru. This trip has three different aspects to it. The first is to bring assistance to an orphanage in Cuzco. The second is to explore the costal oasis region of Lima, the highlands plateau of Cuzco and the Amazon rainforest. The third part of the trip walks through the Ancient Inca areas and explores all of the cultural aspects in this area including the fabled ‘Lost CityMachu Picchu.

This trip is for anyone Grade 8 and over. If you’re interested there is an important meeting on Wednesday May 2nd at in the DSS library. This meeting will talk about how to make the trip affordable and its highlights and purposes. “It is an amazing opportunity to take advantage of. The ripple effect it will have on your life and those you will help is immense,” said Weaver.
