DSS Concert Band Participates In Annual Music Festival

The Dunnville Secondary School (DSS) Concert Band made quite an impressive musical performance last Friday, May the 4^th at the Annual Music Festival located at the Grace Reformed Church on George Street. The students of the DSS concert band who performed in the festival received gold standings for their outstanding performance and Kim Visser, a student of DSS personally received gold standings for her vocal and piano performance as well.

As a follow up to this performance, on Wednesday, May 23^rd at 7pm in the DSS cafeteria, the Annual Arts Festival will be taking place featuring the DSS concert band, the guitar club, vocal soloists, and many other guest artists. There is no admission fee to the festival, but there will be a place for silver collection at the door that will go towards new music for the school's music classes. The festival is an evening of great music and fun so bring family and friends; all are welcome.
